Something wrong with my printer

Whenever I print text out with my canon MP370, my printer changes the density of each line so like every other line is really bold, some are normal, and others are light colored. I did deep cleaning several times but the same problem persists. I had the same issue with my old lexmark z43. What gives? Is this a bad printer head? if it is why would there be darker text then?

Sounds like you have a bad driver install. Yet, without the full system specs, it is difficult to tell....
