Alright, right now, my case is running about 27degrees, and the ambient room temp is about 24. i have a raidmax astro 268 case (http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=11-156-018&depa=0). right now, i have the two side fans blowing in, two 80s on the front, the 60 on the back exhausting, and i cut a 120 on top exhausting. for the front, i cut out slits on the side of the front panel so the fans could pull in outside air across the drives.
now, the problem i think im having is that i dont think im sucking out all the air im pulling in. i have an sp-94 heatsink with a panaflow 92 blowing on it, then the 60 serves to pull that heated air out, that leaves the 120 to pull hout air out, and when i turn it lower (via a controller), i do notice a HUGE difference in temps, sometimes 6 or 7 degrees, so now, i need a suggestion on where to put more exhaust fans.
i was thinking of cutting another 60 under the exsting 60, but im not sure how much good that would do, although it could pull hot air off the video card. where would you suggest i put another exhaust fan?
also, the way its set up, the power supply's bottom fan blows right onto the heatsink, which could be good, but its warm air, and im not sure its healping anything, would i benefit from building a slim duct for the power supply air to go the the 120?
and finally, maybe this belongs in the psu forum, but the rear fan on my supply moves REAL slow, and i feel its not exhausting much out of the power supply (and maybe the reason the bottom fan is blowing really warm air out)
thanks for reading!
