Software to test motherboards??

I am a computer technician and I need a software program to test motherboards. Is there such a thing?? I use spinrite to test hard drives and memtest to test memory, but I need something that will actually check out a board. ANy suggestions?? Thanks in advance.

P.S. I would prefer that it run from CD-ROM or floppy in case I can't get into windows.
