do you think one will be made? powerleap made ones for fcpga2 > fcpga and s423 > s478, so maybe people with s478 boards will have an option to upgrade once the s478 is dropped completely.

maybe, but i doubt it. The logic is that the Socket 423 CPUs were bigger then the Socket 478 CPUs so they were able to do that. But, the LGA775 cpus are bigger then the socket 478 cpus and you might break something in the process.
