Socket 370 Cooler... Socket A compatible?

Hi

I need to replace the HS&F on a 933 Mhz Pentium III (Socket 370/PPGA I believe). I'm having trouble finding a local store with some Socket 370 sinks in stock, are Socket A coolers compatible? I've seen lots of sinks advertised online as "Socket370/SocketA", which leads me to think they're compatible.

Could someone confirm 100% please?

For the most part they will be compatible.
You will want to make sure there are no spacers or stabilizing pads to interfere with contact with the core.

I've used my alpha 6035 on both.
 
I know from experience that at least Socket A coolers which use two of the opposing tabs on the socket's sides will fit without issues. Not certain about other types of coolers.

You can use a socket A cooler, get one rated for an XP3200+ or a Palomino 2100+, it will be total overkill for your cpu, but it will work well...

I have a soocket A coller on my P3 733...cool & quiet :)
