Alright so have to particians on this mobo
When I went to install it didn't let me delete old patricians no big deal. C and E
I installed this time on E (bigger) but in Vista I go to format and it doesn't let me format C.
Soo I dont want to have to stick in a WinXP cd and boot from there to format this partician any other idea?

Other info: The C drive which I want to format has my last install of windows on it.

That isn't a very clear description, so I'm just going to guess here. It sounds like some boot files are on C, despite the fact Vista is installed to E. This sounds like a mess that could only get worse. I'd back up my data, wipe the drives clean and start over.

Is a "partician" like partial-magician? Maybe a particle-pediatrician?

Partition.

Regardless of which partition you install Vista to it will always assign the drive letter C: to that system partition. So, what used to be your E: partition is probably now your C: partition and what was your C: partition is probably now your E: partition (they swapped).

Thats fine either way I just want to format the one and it's not letting me
