Ok, I'm not going to lie, I was looking for a way to stress my system to generate some damn heat in my room(leaky windows!). I thought at first orthos + 3dmark then I thought I'd fold =p and I dlded the gpu client and started running last nite ^^ my room is nice and toasty now lol

how much faster is a 1900xtx over a c2d @ 3.2ghz for folding btw =p?
 
If your running the SMP client then try around -1000 PpD.

Scientificaly the GPU folds a lot faster than the SMP client but it can fold a lot smaller range of protien.
So at the moment the best Points bonus is got by running the SMP client.
Plus leaving the vid card in 2D mode saves arounds 50-80 watts of power.
Which soon add up once the farm expands.

PS. Be warned:- The farm will expand ...... :p
