NO HDD (read below, lol)

Yeah I know its not much, but I was thinking about making it a file server, now for the other question, why its posted here..

Well, the person who gave it to me yanked, yes yanked the hard drive out of it and took the entire hardrive cage with it lol, must've expected it, it's an e-machine after all (not to implay the users of such have low computer knowledge) :p

point in case is that I have nowere to mount the HD's on it. So I come to you in hopes that you can answer a few Q's

-is the mobo ATX satndard and if the mobo can just be mounted in any case? (I was thinking I'll just buy a whole new cheapo case and mount the hardware in the new case and just be done with it)

-if not, what do you recomend that I do to make a cage or something to mount the drives on?

thanks mod-gods :)

Yes it's ATX standard. Or, you could just get some aluminum or acrylic and be creative. :D

edit: Although you might want to watch out since the PS cables are sometimes shortened to just fit that case. But it's usually not a problem.

cool, thanks...

I figured it was easier to get a new case, I just ordered one of those cheapo cases for $5.00 from the [H]otdeals forum

:)
