I placed my order for a SN25P just a few minutes ago to upgrade my SN45G. What I would like to know is if any BIOS exist to get past the 250MHz memory hump or will I be forced to use Clockgen if I want to OC my Venus? Also does the SN25P come with the power adapter to plug in my 6800 GT? I got the GT a few days ago and mad the mistake of opening it before the PC got here and now I lost the stupid power cord so I would like to know if the SN25P box includes one or if I should go ahead and buy one before it gets here.

One more thing. Since this will be my first PCI-E PC I would like to know if it will be any different to OC this versus an AGP based board. Before I had to worry about the AGP not being locked so will I have a similar problem here or is that non existent?
 
It Ocs past that fine. I don't think mine came with an adapter since I just used the one that came with my card. The pci-e bus is not linked to the HTT, so you don't have to worry about locking. Make sure you use the ram divider to lower the ram speed if you OC and didn't get high quality ram!
 
Eclipse has an athlon 64 overclocking guide in here somewhere, do a search.
I strongly recommend following his guide if you are not sure of how to overclock a 64 system. It will make your experience much better.
