box ran disconnected from internet
when finished it said.....missing_work_files.
I left it alone and connected

This is a error. I suggest you reinstall the FAH client and rerun Install.bat to make sure all works fine.

So in other words.......delete the current SMP client program (F@H)
reload the program
start again

bummer.

Yes but don't forget the Install.bat before restarting ;)

Thanks......could that completed work be stored somewhere, before I dump the program???????

If you have a completed work waiting to be sent, use fah -queueinfo to find the work # then use fah -send #. However, if it is a incomplete work unit, it's a bit harder to keep it without getting corrupted but you can try to backup the work folder and queue.dat.

Thanks again.
I redownloaded the net 2.0 and the SMP client.
When I opened it this time it was very smooth compared to the last one.
Seems to be churning away happily on 2610.
Unfortunately I lost an entire WU:(
We'll see tomorrow when the WU finishes and is ready to send.

I hope for you as well :)

From my extensive SMP borging experience, I can say than 1 of 6 installs get screwy one way or other even if I religiously do the same steps. That's the stupid nature of the beta software
