SMP + GPU2 on dual core?

when its just the GPU2 client running, my cpu usage is 50%...or...1/2 of the cores are loaded...but when i turn the SMP client on...that useage drops to about 20% but my production on the GPU doesnt slow down...its still about 32 mins per 5002 WU. This way i would be getting better production? or should i just run a normal client?

CPU: E8400@ 3.0
GPU: 9600GT (675 core / 1900 shader / 900mem)




 
Someone around here was setting the priorities of the SMP to get it to work out alright, but honestly, with my standard client running at 1000 PPD, I don't really see the harm in putting one standard and one GPU2. Science-wise, you'll likely hit more WUs anyway.

 
hmmm, what are the settings you would recommend for the standard client? like the 5mb= WUs or -advmethods flag, ...
 
i do big WUs on my quad with -advmethods to get the bonus WUs that have been running lately (2621 the past couple of days for 1000 PPD)
