smartpower vs. truepower

whats the difference between the antec smartpower and the truepower, i assume that the truepower is a better power supply, im not really sure how or why tho. ive opened them up and looked inside both (smartpower 400w and truepower 330w) and they look damn near identical. also, is there any noticable change in noise level between the two? would it benefit the noise level to put the fans from my old 330w truepower (dead) into my smartpower 400w (alive)?
