What is the smallest radiator i could use for a pentium 3 proc, i want something that will be smaller or about the same size as an 80mm fan, but am having difficulties finding any small radiators. I would like to put a water setup into a micro atx case and i'm looking for the smallest components possible. Anyone have any ideas? I've seen the evercool wc-301 , is it possible to make something smaller than that? or would hacking it be better?

well let's say i want to make my own system, rather than buy it, any recommendations or is it not practical to do it "homebrew"?

Hardware Labs makes the Black Ice series of radiators, their smallest fits one 80 mm fan, but their stuff is not *always* worth the price. They're easy to find, so it's a good start for your search.

It's always more practical to do it "homebrew". It just depends on your definition of "practical". If you want the quickest, easiest setup, with no thought input required, that's pretty much all the kits are good for. If you want to have fun, get more for your money, and get more performance for the same price, build it yourself.

i still think you should get the kind win one, and you dont need to put in the 80mm rad that it comes with, because it has a 2nd one inside the 5.25" bay thing

My roommate has one of those with a bay rad-res-pump and an 80 mm rad, it's not the greatest kit out there. Also, if he's going MicroATX, he's probably going to want all the drive bays free that he can get. Your original idea of a quality 80 mm rad is probably the best, unless you're willing to cut sheetmetal to fit a 120. You could probably fit a 120 outside the case if you just punched some mounting holes, but it might be tough to get it looking good if the case is so small.
