Same length, I think it's a perspective thing. Either that or its the rumored 4650 and it's a typo.

No it doesn't appear to be a perspective thing. Here's a side by side with the standard Sapphire HD 4850. Not only is it a different size, the electronics are different, Notice the caps layout where visible. So it's either a smaller one or something different as you suggested...

i wouldnt be surprised, gigabyte has a shorter 8800GT..
 
It is definitely shorter, you can see the vrm cooler on the front of the card instead of the back. I would be interested in this one as I can just barley attach the 6 pin to my current card with the front fan installed.
