I was trying to watch a video clip but could not because the audio was messed up.
At first I thought it was the file itself was bad. I first tried it in WMP 9 then 10 after finally giving in and upgrading. Same results in Zoom player.
The video is fine but the sound is not. It sounds like a very harsh static, much like 'snow' noise when there is no broadcast on a TV except you can kinda hear the sound from the clip within the noise. Thats the best I can describe it.
Would you say this is indeed a product of a crappy file or is there some audio codec thing or protocol that I am missing? The properties say its AC3 audio and the player says its a-ok for that.
