Small Units Lately?

Is it just me or is everyone getting the little 41 pointers?

I set up my new A64 and it hasn't gotten anything but small units. I'm starting to get worried that I set something up wrong.

Using the graphic version, with "allow units over 5mb" or whatever turned on.

A64 3000+
1gb ram
 
Yup they are every where, 19 pointers even but, its not the points.. its all about the cure!
 
I've been getting them as well the last day or so, until then it had been a steady diet of 364 and smaller Gromacs. Possibly they've come up with another unit of interest that needs processed sooner rather than later.

 
Yeah I think my boxen folded 753,754, and 755 about 3 times each this weekend! And sadly K* is right, sometimes we get too caught up with the points.
 
Points don't matter. (except for certian races)

But yes, I keep grabbing small WUs as well. Hopefully there should be more coming soon. QMDs are still easy to get.

 
I had a bunch of 600-pointers last week (hence the huge jump in ppw), but the last several have been the dinky little ones. That's ok, though, it's all for a good cause.

On a side note, did anyone else notice how OCAU suddenly upped their production again?
 
Seems like for my systems (and others over at OCAU as well was browsing there today)

Faster the CPU then you get smaller units
the slower CPUS are still getting 600's etc (like my farm of 733mhz p3's)
 
Oh yea, I'm definitely not complaining.

I was kind of excited to see how my new system would perform with the big units, but my main concern here was to make sure I hadn't messed something up somewhere.
 
Mhmm.. of the four machines I've got, the only one with a big unit is one processor on a dual XP board, it's got a 600 pointer.

Just happy they're all folding correctly though. Donated some spare $$ and excess blood (I won't miss the pint or so) to the Red Cross, and spare cycles to Stanford. However Stanford thinks is best for them to work, they shall work.
 
I've been getting almost exclusively 600 pointers for the past two weeks(takes 48 hours to get through one)
 
I've been getting more small pointers lately. But units are units. I'd rather find a cure than win a race. :)

 
My A64 is still getting the small 40-50 pointers almost exclusively. Weird. I may switch to the console version this evening to see if that changes anything.

With this 3000+ @ 2.4, I'm interested to see what it will do with one of those big 600 pointers!
 
Definitely noticed an increase in small point WUs, still pick up a 240 point, a 600 pointer, or a qmd every 3 to 5 WUs or so.
