Passive video cards STILL NEED AIRFLOW. If there are insufficient case fans or it is run in open air (such as with reviewing) then a passive card will overheat.

Speaking of airflow, the case will have airflow, so no need to go super passive to go quiet.

For motherboard, the Gene-Z is really nice but super expensive. If not overclocking, then it is no better than any cheap Z68 motherboard.

There are cheaper "quiet" heatsinks, such as the Scythe Ninja 3.

PSU is overkill. Can get a nice, quiet low wattage Seasonic.

Check out the new Radeon 7750 or 7770 graphics cards. Look for ones with single, large fans. They have better performance per Watt ratio.
