Slim wifi PCMCIA card, does it even exist?

My current wifi card is rather annoying, sticking out and gets bumped all the time. Is there such a thing as a slim card? I'm talking about the rectangular antenna thing that pokes out of the laptop:

Your laptop may have a minipci port. You could open it up and see. Then you won't have anything hanging out.

That was my original thought but I have a tablet (Fujitsu T4210). It is out of warranty and it is much much more complicated than the average laptop to get it closed up again. If this was my Dell D630, I would've done it without a second thought.
