Slim Line Optical drive??

Posting here since this is a SFF issue..

Why is it that all the slim optical drives I can find use a little tiny ass sata power cable, but I cant find an adapter for this cable.. What has everyone else done?
 
I used an adapter: they are not that hard to find. Mine is a slim sata on one side, and on the other side a cable that plugs in a sata port on the mobo and a cable that connects to a molex for power.
 
whats it actually called.. I am sure they ahve to have htem, but I am shootin blanks trying to find what the connector actually is.

There is 2 down.. I have 1 more oddball & since the other 2 were found here I will try this one as well.. This however isnt related sirectly to a SFF..

Basically a usb header female to mini usb header male.. I have one device that has a small usb header.. its actually supposed to be full size, but the wrong one was sent & they dont have the right one to send me. So now I gotta find a cable to attach it.
