Hi,
I really want to build an SFF rig with SLi and I was wondering when they will be available. I was also wondering if they with have more than just two PCI-E 16x slots. I really want to have at least two PCI slots as well as the sli slots. Do you know of a mobo like this in the works?

THNX

DFI is the only one who was rumored to have one in the works. Ask them.

SLI on a mATX board means it will only offer 2 expansion slots max. They may or may not both be PCI.

Probably 3 slots max, because the shuttle has 2 and it is much smaller that a mATX board and mATX has a bit more room.

There's room for 4 total, however they want to divide it. They can't change the standard because they would have to change every mATX case!

A good matx that supports SLi would make me cream my self.... ooh I can see it now.. /drool

I can almost guarantee they'd charge an arm and a leg for one, kind of like the SN26P.

Even if it was up there with the prices of the High end motherboards, it would be more than acceptable. A good real high-end mATX Motherboard would be a very good seller even if it was close to $200 bucks. Remember the same folks that looked at the DFI SLI-DR or equivelant would look at this board.

SLI
Gigabit (Maybe Dual)
SB Live onboard
SLI x16
1 PCI
1 PCI-E 1x (since every manufacturer thinks we need this though there are NO cards for it)
8-10 USB Ports
4 SATA
maybe even onboard video

This would be a very good seller. You only have to market it as "the only high-end mATX solution"

I'd be all over that board... Would give me even more incentive to buy my 7800GT, then pick up a second one later on. Oh how I wish that type of board was coming out...
