Sleeving: warrenty void?

Was helping a friend sleeve his new TP 2.0 earlier, and I got to thinking...
does that void the warrenty?
Anyone have any experience in RMA'ing supplies that have been sleeved?

Technically, very likely, but if you can remove the sleeving and make it look like it did before the "mod", then you may be able to get away. But if the sleeving is the source of the problem (if you cut some insulation or something, which isn't a big deal), then you should eat the cost of the risked mod.

Heh, no. No need to RMA right now, just sort of wondering for the future.

well it would also likely depend on the failure
if you burn a connector because the pin wasnt properly reseated in the connector and you burn it up with resistance
ethically you shouldnt be RMAing anyway
whereas if its an unrelated failure , there is an AntecRep on these boards
and Antec would likely not want a sad tale about how a simple sleeving voids the warranty
provided of course they verify the sleeve job wasnt reponsible
Id imagine you could get it covered with some patience and manners

I had a fan burn out in my Tagan and when I called them I told them that I had sleeved the PSU, and they guy said that didn't matter and that the Tech's wouldn't harm the sleeving that I had done.

I never sent it in, I just replaced the fan myself.
