Sleep Mode Problems?

Howdy

I've had my NEC LCD1760NX for nearly 2 years now and I'm starting to have a few problems with it. It seems to suddenly go into sleep mode, rather randomly, and can't be woken up. It has dual inputs, and I've tried it with both inputs from two different systems and the problem is the same, so I'm fairly confident it's the monitor. It's not an OS thing, because it does it doing boot as well.

If I turn the monitor off then back on, it will regain the signal for a second then go black again. I think it may be losing the signal, but that's really just a guess, there isn't much evidence of it. I unplugged it and then plugged it back in and it worked fine for a while, and then it happened again... so I'm completely lost. Anyone had any troubles remotely like this before? Any ideas on a possible solution?
