skiping a frame?

i think my video card might be a little messed up, my computer seems to skip a frame every 5 seconds. skipping, you know, like a little jump.

is it my videocard, oh yeah i;ve had it since last july and its not oc'ed
 
whatkind of games are you playing and at what detail level. I think the 9500np 64mb card in your sig can't keep up with the games anymore.
 
Running motherboard monitor or any other monitoring program? if so, turn it off.

So, im not sure if you answered the question or not. Running any monitoring programs? Why dont you list your processes list for us.
May help us determine what is going on.
