I would suggest going with the
SAPPHIRE RADEON 7000(VE) Video Card, 32MB DDR, 64-bit, TV-Out, 4X AGP -OEM

When you look at the detailed specifications you see that it runs 166(CORE) and 400(Memory) as opposed to the gigabyte which runs 150(CORE) and 300(Memory)

As for the memory space on a card like that 32MB is enough.

I'd have to agree, quality over quantity, though why are you getting a 7000?

He's probably getting it because it's cheap. Someone already beat me to the point though, that card probably can't address 64mb of memory that well, and aside from that, as shown, it has lower speeds.

can the difference in 32mb of vid memory and 64mb reallie show out?...if so, how? and wut wud it look like...lagging?, but doesnt laggin comes from lack of enough speed?.... bad display?..but doesnt bad display come from messed up monitor or bad GPU..but bad GPU cant make a difference cus they're both radeon 7000

HELP HELP...i m so confused

and yes, i m geting it cus its cheap and i jus need it to be good enough to play cs but then i want the best one outta these two

I dont' know the Radeon 7000 that well, but I doubt it can utilize 64mb of memory fast enough to really make it worthwhile. Also as you see the speed of the core and the RAM is lower on teh 64mb model, which isn't very appealing.

If you're getting this for games it better not be anything recent, it's not going to run them well or at all.

I've got a 32mb DDR Geforce2 Go in my laptop and that can run ET fine, but at 800x600 and I haven't been able to play much of anything newer on it. Granted a laptop isn't the best gaming machine but I hope you're just buying this card for a basic computer.
