simple mods to cool a computer?

ive recently been monitoring my temperatures, and they're getting pretty high. it gets to 60º celcius when im running games. i have 2 60mm fans in the back blowing air out and one 80mm in the front sucking air in. i also have a power supply fan that blows air out. what are some simple things i can do to lower the temps? im gonna take everything apart and dust it soon, its getting nasty. i might try to cut the back fan grills out. anything else?

How bout a duct mod for the cpu fan? Ive got one on my main comp, and it works good. Ive got dryer ducting( the metal accordian style) going from a side window fan thats rated slightly higher cfm's than the cpu/heatsink. Essentially the cpu fan blows off the hot air into the duct, and the side fan assists sucking it out like a vaccum.;)
Or, a blowhole on top?
Hows your wiring? Hide/clean-up/wrap-up......to improve airflow.
:D BTW.......check out the sticky in the cases section(mods) for more on this.

Put a blowhole in the top if you can fit it. I'll run through the steps I did to insert a 120mm fan:

1. With PSU and optical drives installed, mark the largest available space on the top panel by drawing around the visible part with a pencil - this prevents putting your fan in and realizing you can't put the top panel back on

2. Take off the top panel

3. In the square you drew, draw a 120x120mm square

5. Draw a large X through the square's corners, converging in the middle of the square

6. Centertap the middle of the X. Get out your 120mm (4 1/2") bi-metal holesaw and your drill press :D or dremel out a circle. The holesaw is a lot easier.

7. Position the fan over the hole. Poke your pencil through each screw hole. Drill out the case where the dots are. I attached the fan to the case with bolts, so find the width of the bolt and use the next largest drill bit.

8. Enjoy

i think i might mod a window into my side panel and put a fan over the heatsink to bring in cool air. and maybe ill also do a top blowhole. as of now im not sure the tools are accesable to me.

Thats what I did. Works well too. Mine is aimed at the PCI/AGP slots as I have a WC'd CPU, but it would work the same for your CPU.

The ducting mod mentioned above works really well. I had a vantec tornado with a slk 900 on my 3.0c. I attached a piece of dryer duct to a hole in the side of the case and down to the cpu fan. That way, I got cold air straight from outside. The tornado blew so much air that there was noticable air flowing out of every hole in the case.
Dropped my temps about 5 degrees C.
