Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I was just wondering if anyone has this PSU? and what experience they've had with it.
I have been thinking about getting one and the research I've done has been right down as far
as good vs bad. any help would be much appreciated.thanks
The Enhance model does not have the limiters set on the rails the same was as the Silverstone and has both PCI-e connectors on the same rail.
When asked why they didn't "correct" the rails like they did for the Silverstone unit, the response was basically, "the Enhance is for servers, while the Silverstone is for gamers."
Enhance ENS-0560G:
12V1: 16A CPU 1 if 8-pin is used.
12V2: 18A CPU 2 on 8-pin.
12V3: 16A Both PCI-e connectors, 12V pins on ATX main connector and the 6-pin AUX (EPS)
12V4: 16A Drive Molexes and CPU 1 if 4-pin is used.
Silverstone ST60F:
12V1: 13A CPU 1.
12V2: 18A CPU 2, 12V on 6-pin AUX (EPS) and 12V on SATA.
12V3: 16A 12V pins on ATX main connector and both PCI-e connectors.
12V4: 18A Drive Molexes.
I STRONGLY suggest NOT using the 4-pin connector on either unit. Use the 8-pin to power the CPU. But DO NOT plug in only four of the eight pins. Use an 8-to-4-pin adapter that taps 12V off of BOTH 12V1 and 12V2.
This will leave you ample room on 12V4 to use a Molex to PCI-e connector for a second video card if you overload 12V3 doing SLI or Crossfire.
