I can save a bundle by using a nonmodular PSU in a Silverstone FT01. My question for FT01 owners is how big a hassle it is to tuck cables away. I'm not using a case window, but I would like to tuck the cables away so they do not impede the airflow of the front fan. Also, these builds are for someone else so I want the wiring to be more on the professional side?

Should I bite the bullet and go modular? How hard is it to keep the inside clean? PSU in consideration are:

Corsair 750TX (nonmodular)
Corsair 750HX (modular)
PC Power and Cooling 750 Quad (nonmodular)

i had been using a pc p&c 750 since the week they were released. mine is bronze in color. that was the initial color before they came in black, red, and blue. tucking those cables away in the ft01 was a hassle. a month ago, i switched to an hx850. i wouldn't have it any other way now. my advice: get the hx750.

Definitely definitely definitely definitely definitely definitely definitely definitely definitely modular. There ain't a whole lot of places to tuck cables and it gets ugly. Unless you do not care about looks, then you can just throw everything in front of the PSU on the bottom there.

I have a TX750 and though it took a bit more work to clean it up, it's possible, it's up to you whether or not its worth it.

I got my 750w for 85 after rebate, the newer hx750 is 165 at newegg.

85 dollars is a pretty good deal. I bought my Strider 700W for around $100 and I thought that was a very good deal haha.
