But I have a new EK system in my Haf922 (Supreme HF 240) , and it's been chugging along merrily for almost a week. I'm checking the system daily and hand tightening the fittings as needed (almost no movement since the first 8hr bleed). My question is; how long will it take for all of the air to get out of the system? By the time I was done filling and bleeding the water was clear and there were only little bubbles in some of the tubing... No gurgling or anything like that when I turn the pump on, but I have put half a res (admittedly tiny) in every couple of days. Now that I'm getting to day 6 I can't see any bubbles anywhere, but I'm still checking it at least once a day. Is this overly paranoid? Will it stop taking water at some point? Have I asked enough questions? :D

More seriously, great kit, easy to install, really quiet (suddenly my HD's are the loudest thing in the computer). Downside: Tiny res... :rolleyes:

How much water are you adding? Sounds like a leak is possible, depending. Either that or you have quite a bit of restriction, and your flow rate is slow enough to keep it from bleeding reasonably quickly.

What all is in this loop of yours? Just CPU or CPU+GPU?
 
To get rid of the fine bubbles, it may help to turn the loop off for a few hours, and let them collect, and then turn the loop back on, should move the larger bubbles to the res.
 
You know, I was in a very similar situation when I set up my current loop last year. Pretty much everyone said it will get better, but it never did. I had even thoroughly inspected all areas of my case for leaks but never found any. Then I moved my case for whatever reason and found out the carpet was soaked underneath! I immediately began dissecting my entire system and found a leak around one of the barbs on the radiator. There was even a small pool of water on the floor of my 5.25" drive cage. I have no idea how I missed all that when I had inspected everything the previous times.

On the flip side, it really could just be a slow bleeding process due to some trapped air in your rad or something. So, basically my advice is to truly thoroughly inspect each and every fitting and look for any hints of a leak.
 
CPU only, res is probably 1/4 cup (tiny). Shouldn't be a leak, I have indicator paper under every fitting and the lowspots in the tube... There is only around 2~ish feet of tube and no kinks (but I will double check again when I get home), but I do plan on picking up some anti-kink coil stuff just to prevent paranoia... Ah- didn't think about turning it off for a while to collect the bubbles~ I'll try that. The barbs are pointed down right behind the drive cage (rad inside the top of the case), and there is pink paper under them. If there is a leak I will be as surprised as you were, I've even run my fingers over the tubing in the areas that I can't get direct line of sight. Thank you all for the ideas!
