Okay so my computer.... is fucking loud. As i was building this computer i wasnt too worreid about noise, but when i turned this thing on, it was MUCH louder than i expected.

so basically, i have a p160 from antec, im using 1 fan that was provided as a intake (120mm) which is very quiet, or i cant hear it over the un believable hum of my panaflow.

The only reason i bought a panaflow is cause someone told me they are EXTREMELY quiet, but that is definitely not the case.

so basically guess i need something to slow these fans fans down, they are 4 pin molexes so thats another road block.

ALSO i have a 6800GT GS from gainward, im guessing i just need a nv5 on there to cool it.

but it doenst have the regular cooling on it, it has those huge copper sinks so is it compatible?

thanks in advanced guys

oh i want to add that my vid card is louder than my 120's and cpu fan... its loud. im going for a computer that i can keep on all the time

Well panaflos are quiet if you have a fan controller. If its a high-speed 120 then yer, it'll be friggin loud, like 45db. Buying a controller will make it nice and quiet but still pull a nice amount of air compared to an 80mm at high revs.

About the video card. If you don't mind voiding the warranty (or keeping the old hsf incase it dies to throw back on) then just bolt an arctic silencer onto it and your temps and noise will go down alot.

For the CPU, if you want it to be silent aswell, just get a Zalman 7000-Cu-B or Al-Cu, they're really quiet and cool really well for air.

Hope it all goes well,
