I have a ATI silencer 4 and at some point want to use it but I see it had a 3 prong plug and my card X800XL AIW has a 4 prong plug, and a two prong plug...now what?

you have to use an arctic cooler silencer 5 rv.2 as that is the only silencer that suports the 800xl cards

we have the same card btw

porps to you for being smart and getting a great card! ;)

at 530/530 it doesn't seem to but 540/540 definitely overheats.

Plust I would like that heat outside the case.

what voltage do you run yours at? both bois and real (some bios say 1.6 for exsample but are realy outputing at 1.5 something.

Funny that this post comes up today. I got a Silencer 5 rv2 for my X800 and it works great. The downside is that I had an Asus card and it was the only one not compatible with it out of the box. I had to snip off the power connector that came with the Silencer and replace it with a normal three prong connector. Now that little bugger works great and I maxed out my core at 598mhz.
