ive tried searching around, but havent gotten a complete answer...

i have 2 80mm fans for blowholes, and 1 80mm as an exhaust, so i wanna put some side intake fans because my case design does not allow for a lower front one. would the best setup be to have one 80mm blowing into the cpu area and one into the video card area (9800pro) or is the placement of the cpu intake too close to the exhaust? what about 1 120mm in between the cpu and vid card?

any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

i worked with a case where there was an intake on the side panel right were the CPU is

with the air blowing IN, the CPU temp was about 7C less
with the ari blowing OUT, the CPU temp was about 1-2C less

unless you want to overclock ur vid card (which many ppl do anyways ;) ) you wouldnt need an intake at the vid card

so, just have an intake at the CPU

I put in a single 120mm, and the wind from it cools the video card, northbridge, southbridge, and keep the air around the mosfets from stagnating.

i do plan on oc my vid card, i have a vga silencer on it now... ive noticed the ram gets extremely hot when gaming so would ramsinks or a fan directly over the vga cooler be better?

on a side note: has anyone tried the Antec 80mm pro clear fans, they are cheap at the egg but im worried they would be too loud if i run 4 of those suckers
