Shuttle SK22G Issue

Greetings folks,

A few years back I built a Shuttle system for my fiance. It's been nothing but rock solid until yesterday. I happen to walk by here computer when a screensaver was up, which looked "stuck". The computer was un-responsive so I rebooted and everything seemed fine, until it suddenly locked up. I couldn't move the cursor, ctrl+alt+del or anything else, I had to do a hard reboot. I ran through all the typical registry troubling shooting issues and came up with nothing.

Her Hard Drive has been churning a bit more than normal, so I removed that. I then swapped it out for an extra drive I had lying about and the PC froze up once again during a Vista install. I then decided to run Memtest on both sticks of 1GB ram. Neither gave an error report, but both tests locked up at different points. I couldn't exit out of Memtest or anything.

I'm kind of at a loss here. I guess it's safe to assume it's either the CPU, Mobo or PSU. It doesn't seem like the CPU to me, it's avg temps are in the mid 50s. No idea how to test a PSU or mob though.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!
