Hello I'm interested in building a one of these, please advice me on any of my components what I should/shouldn't get, and whether it will work and be free from heat and space trouble etc.

Looks good excepet for one problem. You mobo will not work with your processor. A dual core intel requiers a 945, 955, or 975 chipset. The best matx mobo for intel is the ASUS P5Dl2-VM ir has great overclocking options to push that itel even further. The only downside is that it dosen't have firewire.

Another suggestions is you don't say what speed you mem. is using. With dual core and the new chipsets they support DDR2 667. This would be the best speed to get, for the extra mem. bandwith, but also for the overclocking headroom.
 
Thanks for the advice, you're right that motherboard won't allow the processor I want, good spot. The memory is ddr2 667 so should be suitable, also do you know of an Intel motherboard that supports dual core, not just intel based but an actual intel brand motherboard? Besides that and the change from the 60mm to 80mm fan, do you think everything else will work ok?
 
This motherboard has onboard video memory, does that mean I can't add an nvidia orf ati graphics card? How does it work with onboard video memory, can it be disabled?

Any motherboard that has the 945G chipset has built in graphics. But they also allow you to have a regular PCi-Express video card. To turn off the internal video, just go into the bios and where it says onboard vga, switch it from enable to disable. It will then just use the ATI or Nvidia video card you have installed, its better to use a external video card because the onboard vga hurts system performance

As for your suggested Intel motherboard you want to use it will work just fine.

Just one more question? Why would you want to use the intel motherboard?
They are more expensive, and offer less features than other companys.
