Going into the Air Force, want a smaller PC so heres what i'm going to build:

Shuttle Prima XPC SX48P2-Deluxe Intel Socket T(LGA775) Intel X48 Black Barebone

EVGA GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked Edition 896-P3-1267-AR Video Card
Will it fit? Heard that a dual slot card that expels air out of the case would mean better cooling. That true?

OCZ Reaper HPC 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)

Western Digital RE3 750GB 3.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz LGA 775 95W Quad-Core Processor
CPU cooling?

ViewSonic VX2233wm Black 21.5" 5ms Widescreen 16:9 LCD Monitor Built in Speakers - need a good 16:9 monitor or something that keeps aspect ratio for my xbox.

Never bought a shuttle PC before so I have one primary concern. Will this video card fit into this system?

Also what CPU fan should I get for the processor that will fit into the case.

Never built anything in a small case like this before. Any other comments or suggestions?
 
2000 bucks for that shiz? Orly...? You should consider building a system yourself.
 
just buy the barebone off of newegg, and build it and save a few hundred bucks.
 
Note that there are apparently two versions of the SX48 motherboard. This is hinted at on the compatibility page PClark99 linked ("*just support PCB version 2.0").

The original version (this also includes SX38 and SP35 boards) will NOT fit with GTX 2x0's or 9800GTX/GX2 cards because the 4-pin motherboard power connector is in the way. You would have to make a small mod to an extension cable: [1],[2]

If you order the barebones you should ask and make sure you're getting the newer board revision.
 
Newegg will not accommodate "check revision" requests btw unless you're in the area.

Note that the monitor and blue ray burner are probably the most expensive items other than the barebones system and vid card. If I didn't want/need either it would be like $700 less.

Monitor is 16:9 with a 20,000:1 contrast ratio so its not cheap

Exactly the point.. build your own system instead of getting the barebones that requires DDR3 ram. ~100 case, ~100 mobo, ~100 psu ~ 300. Then of course take the difference between ddr2 and 3 prices.
