I just wanted to know what you guys think of the case mods im thinking about adding to my shuttle...they're not huge mods but they'll change the look around alot. the specs on my shuttle are in my sig, and i'll post some pics.
----------------------------------------------------------

Here are some pics of the shuttle.
Here's the front
Here's the back
Here's one of the inside

Here are the links for the mods I want.
clear case
2 of these fans
2 of these fan grills
------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks!

make sure the thickness of the fans fit on the inside of the case because of hardware sticking out to far or whatever, unless of course ur having them on the out side of the plastic i spose

Go to www.svc.com they have your fans and fan covers on clearance the fans are coolermaster 25dba 32.11cfm for $2.50 and the fan covers are $0.50 each.

something tells me this isnt a mod. it's like getting a new faceplate for your cellphone and considering it a mod.

The fans will have to mount on the outside of the cover.

Yeah i was afraid of that :( I dont know how much i like that idea. I think i might just leave the fans off and just have the fan holes for extra ventilation. I'd still put the fan grills on though.

I have to agree with joeframbach on this one... A true mod would be buying a sheet of plexi and doing this yourself.

the fan WONT fit in if u have changed the psu to a 250wat and te air will get blocked by a longer gfx me thinks, that's if it even fits that side with a gfx that reaches...

Well I found these pics and the fans seem to be mounted inside. I'm not sure what's going on in that second one though.

The first pic shows a fan grill with no fan. Look closely and you will see there is no fan.
The second pic shows a different cover than the one you are using. Yours is 1-piece, the one in the pic is 3 pieces.

Trust me on this, there is NO WAY to get the cover back on the Shuttle with fan attached to it.

Yeah i'm gonna do the same thing as in the first pic, but with the clear case not blue. And also, i think im gonna add some cold cathodes or lazer led's...somethin to light it up. And keep in mind that i can always take the case off and replace it with the stock one, so dont worry all you critics of the plexi case.

Thanks for the feedback guys

i guess so...i dont really like the idea of having them on the outside. Unless anyone has any suggestions, i think thats my plan.

I am using thse on a project I;ve been working on for 6 months now. They mount on the outside and are very decorative. They move quite a bit of air and are fairly quiet.

can you upload em for me? please? Oh by the way everyone all my "mods" came today...ill post some pics later on.
