Shuttle:External PSU

Could, I say take a shuttle, and put a big like 500 Watt PSU Into a shuttle, but leave it external? Would there be any problem with this besides the fact that its external? I really dont think there is, but Im just asking, for a friends project were doing water cooling etc, and we just burnt out his 200Watt POS - U. TIA

As long as everything is connected properly there shouldn't be problem.

Only potential issue I can think of is that this way the case is not grounded directly through the PSU, but that's not hard to solve.
