does anyone know if there is a shuttle external PSU for the SN41G2?? This seems to me to be the LARGEST source of all the noise in my box. I know the Zen has one but I wonder if they sell some sort of kit to mod the SN41G2?

I don't believe Shuttle makes one. I have however seen home made ones.

no, but you can get their Silent X PSU. It doesn't quite sound like their name implies, but the main fan on the ICE is still louder than it at medium setting.

Yeah, the fan in the SilentX PSU is still noisy, but the temp differences with this PSU seems to be better. The stock original PSU (220watt) was hot to the touch within 5 minutes of operation. I know some folks bought the SilentX PSU and then modded the fan out and replaced it with a quieter fan and modded it to a fan controller so they could control the RPM.

As far as an external version? You can make your own, but Shuttle does not make this that I know of.
