Setting up readyboost and all goes well

After a couple hours or so when i go to my computer and do a right click properties on the readyboost usb drive im using it shows

0 free bytes
0 used bytes

0 for everything...is this normal?, vista detects it and it passes all readyboost test when i initially plug it in and it speeds up my system alot since i only have 1g of RAM, however after a couple hours it seems much slower.

I haven't used that feature, but perhaps it has allocated the space to ReadyBoost so it doesn't get overwritten?

Typically it (Vista) ask you how much space you want to allocate to BoostReady. If you have "Hide Hidden Files" unchecked you will see a file similar to "ReadyBoost.sfcache" and a file size allocated to it.

If you allocated your entire USB Drive to it then you will have no Free Space on the USB Drive.
