Ok, my system specs are below, except for the sound card, which is an Auidgy 1 card. Am I holding myself back on this? Would you upgrade to something better? I am using a high powered 4.1 speaker system, 400wts total I belive, so lmk.

Aside from the obvious rules violation what speakers are you using?
I would say yes but if your speakers suck it matters not. ;)
 
if you're only (or mostly) playing games than the audigy 1 is good enough.
if you have money to burn and want to improve sound quality a little than get the Audigy 2 ZS (assuming that you game a lot).
