I just checked Mvktech and they have a Rev05 for my PNY 6800GT, im still on 01. Now there must be a pretty dam good reason to release 5 new revisions so should I download and flash my card? Wont that void my warranty?
 
I dont think it wil void the warranty if it's directly from the company and unmodified but it depends on the company.

Unless you are having problems there is no need to update the bios. Don't fix it if it aint broke.
