The psu i have now makes a lot of noise and I'm sick of hearing it. Also I think its not grounded correctly because when i touch the case sometimes I'll get a static shock which leads to the computer to restarting.

two hdds, X850 pro, and AMD Athlon 64 processor 3400+.

I am using a x thermaltake silent 480 watt right now. I'm scared the 3400+ won't be enough power.

Only +12V@16A, not enough.

You really want a min. of +12V@26A & of course more is better.
