Here are the games I currently play:
Unreal Tournament 2004
Doom 3
Need for Speed Underground
Half Life 2
Hitman Blood Money
F1 2002

All of the games are run at 1600x1200 except Need for Speed (only goes up to 1280x1024) and Hitman (1280x960).

On the cheapo asrock dual-vsta 775 motherboard the e6400 can be overclocked up to 2.4 ghz. Would there be any noticeable performance advantages to doing this overclock? Assuming PC games are currently GPU limited, I do not see the benefit to overclocking the core 2 duo cpus strictly for gaming purposes.

mod doom 3 with higher res monsters, bloom, parallax mapping (not virtual, look for this one), and some other stuff and you'll need it :-P
