I guess it depends on what you want it for and what you expect from it. I like it a lot and I don't have any real complaints about it at all. The biggest downfall for me is that my other canon lenses won't work with this (they are 20+ years old) and I am having to get a whole new set, plus flash etc, but that is not a downfall exept t to my bank account.
