Well I'm moving into College this weekend, and I'm flying out to Boston so unfortunately I have to ship my computer to my dorm. Anyone got any suggestions or tips on how to pack it the best way? I have the original box for my monitor but I don't have the original box for the tower. Anyone else had to ever ship themselves their comps? What'd you do?

Take the machine apart, protect each part (with whatever possible), put everything in one box and ship it. Pay for the highest protection, you don't want something broken.

yea, do that, or take ur pc on as a carry on. it will either turn out good, or something like this:

OMG HES GOT A BOMB!!!!!!!!!!! *you get tackled by 5 security guards with tasers* :D

Depending on when he gets on their may be no room for his computer in the carry on storage, and you don't want to have to store your computer with the rest of the luggage....

I'm pretty sure my lian li is gonna be a little too big for carry on unfortunately, otherwise I would do that.
