i moved my mom's computer upstairs.. but hooked it up to a monitor that was already there.. it is a 17 inch crt.. dell.. not that it matters.. non triniton at least.. but anyways.. it shakes.. it did it slightly when i first hooked it up, but my mom didn't notice.. but tonight it was going crazy.. i could see it from across the room, and she noticed it too finally.. i turned off the ceiling fan.. and stopped it.. i don't think it is even possible that any wires are running in the wall behind it from where it is located in the house, except possibly the ceiling fan/lamp.. but that is probably wired from the lightswitch somehow.. but it shakes.. i can make it mostly go away if i put the vid card down to 60 hz.. it does it the worst about 85 hz.. (which is the highest i can get it to go anyways)
it was doing it slightly on the gateway crt downstairs.. but it went away... it used to do it when the microwave was running, but quit doing that... so i don't know what is going on..
is it possibly some wierd harmonic distortion with the electrical lines in our hosue? or does my mom's vid card overheat? or is her 6000 rpm shitty cpu fan doing it, even though it is a good 2 feet from her monitor?
