We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

I've recently acquired a new boxen... sort of. I have unrestricted access to a 64-bit Ubuntu Server 10.10 virtual machine, running in ESXi 4.0 over 2x xeon 5148 (c2d based, 2.33ghz) with 2.0gb of ram allotted to the machine and no cpu usage limits. I'm trying to get F@H running on it, but when I try to run the executable, I get

[xx:xx:xx] - Ask before connecting: No
[xx:xx:xx] - User name: btaylor2 (Team 33)
[xx:xx:xx] - User ID not found locally
[xx:xx:xx] + Requesting User ID from server
Segmentation fault
root@test-boxen:/home/btaylor2#

I've removed and reinstalled fah, tried the older 6.02 client, rebooted/updated the machine more times than I care to count, tried running as everything from root to a new user account with privileges on no files other than that one. Same error every time. I'm out of ideas. Does the [H]orde have any suggestions?

Unfortunately, all versions of the Linux F@H Clients are currently incompatible with the new 10.10 version of Ubuntu until someone figures out a fix. Some more detail is available here.
