Alright, search is still disabled, so I am going to act like a newb:

I have recently become enamored with Seti@home, and run it at home (2 systems, my main one -see sig- and my kids p2-450) and here at work (dell p4 2.8 HT, dually p3 600, 3 boxes at p3 600 each, and one box running at i THINK 333mhz).

Anyway, I have access to around 3 or 4 dozen stations (each p3 600, 128mb ram) with floppies, nics, and no hard drives. yes, i have available network ports, available power, and a room to heat....

question is:
how do i setup diskless workstations? i mean, they all have fairly common hardware, they're powerful enough, and I really want to do it. problem - most don't have cdroms - can this be done via floppy? and, well, how? :)

thanks!

While some of us used to do SETI and other DC projects, we've settled on medical-related DC projects around here so our SETI help will be limited. You might want to check out a couple of turmelle's threads about diskless folding machines though.
