I'd like to see a place on the forums to post server related questions. Currently, there is no good place to post questions about server software questions. I'm a net admin stuck in an MS environment and would love to see what people on the forums might know about MS Exchange server, SQL server, and the like. It would also be useful for various unix servers as well. Am I just missing that there is a forum for this, or would it be helpful to have something like this?

most of that stuff ends up in networking...

That's true. A subforum would help so it doesn't get all mixed up with the other networking posts. It doesn't really fit all that well with ethernet and wifi questions. ;)

I generally am against overcategorization, as it reduces page views and discussion, but I agree that we need a systems administration subforum, simply because this covers a lot of questions that could go elsewhere, but to a much deeper level. It would be nice to have a place to put all of those questions/discussions.

Besides, when sysadmin stuff goes in networking, there is a bit of contrast between a question regarding corporate networks versus setting up broadband at home.

perhaps renaming networking to networking/security/servers/sysadmins/etc ;)
