Server Bottenecks & Preferred Deadlines

About an hour ago, I just finished my first SMP WU worth over 1400 points. However, I have been unable to upload the results since Stanford is having problems apparently. Unfortunately, the preferred deadline is in an hour from now. What happens if I can't meet this preferred deadline because of this server problem?

According to the log, it is trying to connect to two different servers. According to the server status page, both of them are "full" and one is in a "reject" state.

If you miss the preferred deadline the Work-Units gets re-issued but you still get the points.
Its if you miss the final deadline that you get no points.

Finally got my SMP WU sent, hopefully it made the preferred deadline.. I think it missed though.

I bet Stanford is going to have a fair bit of issues like that today.
