Sending Private Messages?

Ok, I really just came here to trade with someone, I have thousands of feedbacks all over the Internet, but I can't post in a trade thread and I apparently can't PM this person, maybe my post count is too low? This site and its strange rules are all a big mystery to me. I can't really find any explanation anywhere. Any help is much appreciated.

There is nothing preventing you to send PM's, at least in your user control panel.

The post count requirement to post in the FS/FT subforum is clearly listed at the beginning of the rules announcement at the top of that subforum: http://hardforum.com/announcement.php?f=17&a=4

The only reason I can think of that would prevent you from sending a PM to someone, would be if they put you on their ignore list. If you PM'd them once before, and can't now, that's probably what happened. If not, what message do you get when you try to PM them?
